On November 8, 2019, Scholars Guild Academy held the first-ever Fall Dance! The Dance was hosted by the Admin of Scholars Guild and the wonderful Student Life Committee, commonly referred to as the SLC. The Fall Dance, based on the large number of high schoolers attending and the positive reports, was the popular hit of the weekend. Numerous social media posts were made about the Fall Dance, as many people wanted to share photos of the grand time they had, even if we were all freezing our faces off.
"I had a great time at the dance!" Ashley Strange, a Junior, said.
Senior Josiah Joyce noted, "I liked it better than Spring Formal."
Freshman Abbey White said her favorite thing about the dance was, "getting to spend time with my friends in a different environment."

Indeed, throughout the whole afternoon and night, everyone was socializing and spending quality time with their friends. It was especially hilarious watching people chase each other around the venue, determined to catch them for reasons unknown. On the dance floor was where everyone got funky and spunky. I'd like to think that was a clever rhyme; I was taught by the best literature teacher of SGA ever: the Purple Pen.
Current Sophomore Nate Sommer commented that his favorite song from the Fall Dance was, "Probably when they played NF. That was pretty awesome."

Quite a number of song favorites and bops were played during the dance, such as the Cupid Shuffle, Church Clap, and the Cha-Cha Slide; everyone was having a blast making fools out of themselves dancing, me including. This year's Fall Dance was a huge success to say. We thank our hardworking SLC and the tireless and dedicated admin who worked so hard to bring this new event to SGA! Lastly, HIGHSCHOOLERS! Be on the lookout for SGA's annual Spring Formal in March of 2020! Yes, we're already advertising.

Paul Fedele stated, "I would definitely want to go to Spring Formal after the fun I had at Fall Dance… not to mention all my friends were such a blast to be around."
My fellow, amazing and majorly stressed high school pals … be a Paul and set your eyes on the Spring Formal, because it'll be just as awesome as the Fall Dance was.

These are much better photos than the ones I took on my phone, as my camera quality is horrendous.
