With the semester coming to an end, everyone is celebrating and looking forward to Summer break. However, it is also a sad time when we say goodbye to our amazing seniors. In this article, we will be hearing from three of our incredible graduating seniors!

Q. What is your favorite memory of your time at SGA?

Kate: “My favorite memory at SGA is probably a mix of One Act '23 & '24 and Thescon '24 and '25 because of the opportunities it gave me to spend more time with my friends and get to know other people as well.”

Colin: “One of my favorite memories at SGA is playing Farquaad in our Shrek musical production. I was the best short person.”

Maci: “Some of my favorite memories at SGA are from going to the Spartans games with my friends!”

Q. What is one thing you would tell your freshman self?

Kate: “Something I'd tell my freshman-year self would be to not be so hard on myself and to be more intentional in my friendships and relationship with the Lord.”

Colin: “If I could tell my freshman self anything, it would be: 'You won't be 5’0 ft forever; you will grow.'”

Maci: “I would tell my freshman year self to NOT PROCRASTINATE!! Also, stop worrying about what everyone thinks of you and just be yourself.”

Q. Do you have any advice for lowerclassmen?

Kate: “My advice for lower classmen would be to be loving and the light of Jesus to everyone, but choose your inner circle wisely.  Also, don't feel like you have to participate in every activity!  Give yourself some margin, and be nice to yourself. [My senior-year self needs to listen to this advice too, lol.]”

Colin: “My advice for lowerclassmen and any other peers is to trust God in everything you do. Even when you don't know what is next for you in life, God does, and The Lord Will Provide!”

Maci: “Stressing over a test is a waste of energy. Spend more time studying for the test than you spend crying about it.”

Q. What is your favorite class you've ever taken and why?

Kate: “My favorite class I've ever taken is either Physical Science, because it was really interesting and taught me ways to study, or AP Literature because of all the fun discussions we have in class!”

Colin: “My favorite class I've ever taken in Musical Theatre!”

Maci: “My favorite class I've taken is one that I'm in right now: Government/Economics. While it doesn't sound like the most exciting class, it's given me the knowledge and tools to be able to form my own opinion on things that happen in the “real world.”

Q. What is a bucket list goal you have for the future?

Kate: “A bucket list goal I have is to tour Europe and see as many cool places as possible!”

Colin: “I don't have much of a bucket list, and I can't really think of anything at the moment!”

Maci: “Something that's been on my bucket list since first grade is to go to Rome and see the Colosseum. My family and I are going this winter!”
