Have you ever hurried to get dressed for school, grabbed your books, and rushed out the door, only to realize you forgot to eat breakfast? This happens to everyone! We all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, because it is the one that gets your body going, and it’s not something to skip, especially on a busy school day. So here are a few quick and easy breakfast ideas to start your day off strong!

Fruit and Nut Salad- The night before, chop up two cups of fruit mixture and lightly drizzle with lemon juice. Then chop up two tablespoons of walnuts and mix in with the salad. Put the salad in the fridge and enjoy the next day with a cup of milk or juice!

Honey Fruit Oatmeal- Heat up a mug of water and add a favorite oatmeal mix, such as apple and cinnamon. Mix together and drizzle with honey. Add fruit if desired and peanut butter or walnuts for protein. Enjoy with your favorite morning beverage!

Banana Peanut Butter Toast- Toast whole wheat bread and spread a layer of peanut butter on top. Thinly slice banana pieces and add them to the peanut butter. Drizzle with honey. You can also try sun butter or almond butter, or spread the toppings on another slice of bread and add the two together as a sandwich!

Egg Toast- Scramble eggs and add desired toppings, such as bacon, cheese, or scallion. Then toast a slice of bread and add eggs on top. Add herbs such as rosemary or basil on top. Eat with a side of fresh fruit and enjoy!

On-The-Go Yogurt and Granola- Grab your favorite yogurt cup, granola bar, and a handful of washed berries to make your own yogurt parfait to go! Just open the yogurt, add the berries, and crumble in the granola bar. Top with honey or maple syrup and sprinkle with your favorite fall spices.
