Looking for a club to join in the fall? We may be biased, but we think Journalism Club is an excellent group to be a part of. Here’s what a few of our team members had to say about it!
“Journalism Club is about expressing yourself in however you wish to present yourself to the school, and by extension, the world. Though written articles are the most common type of journalism, videography, photography, and fun quizzes have been other ways people have creatively participated in the club. One of the most significant reasons to join the Journalism Team is that it provides the chance to creatively contribute to the school with fellow creative minds and skills.”
–Vivian Rice; Journalism Co-Leader, Contributor/Writer, Layout Team/Social Media
“Journalism not only allows for an outlet for creativity, but you are surrounded by a community of other writers that support you along the way.”
–Bella Young; Contributor/Writer
“I have been a part of journalism for two years now and I have really enjoyed it! It's so cool to be able to have this opportunity in high school, and to write articles for your peers to read. It has also helped me better my writing skills. I would definitely recommend joining journalism club!!!”
–Vivian Crawford; Contributor/Writer, Layout Team/Social Media
“It is so much fun to get to write about and share something that you are truly passionate about!”
–Rosie Harper; Contributor/Writer
“Journalism club has the most amazing people and feels like one big family! Whether you like writing, design, or social media, there’s really something for everyone. I would highly recommend joining Journalism, it’s been one of my favorite highschool experiences. Plus, you can get credit hours for it! That’s a win-win in my book! :)”
–Sara Sands; Contributor/Writer
“I am so grateful that I got to be a part of Journalism Club this year! It’s been so much fun getting to write unique articles, share my poems, and spend time with awesome teammates. If you’re someone who enjoys being creative–whether that’s through writing, social media design, graphic design, or even making posters to hang up in the halls–then this club is a great option for you. Praying that this club is a blessing to you as a reader and/or team member!”
