Hooray!! It’s finally fall, the leaves are turning, the air is crisp, and wherever you go, you see pumpkins. Most importantly, Halloween is upon us! It’s the season to go trick or treating and get sugar highs with your friends. That means it’s time to get out your thinking hat and decide what you want to dress up as this year! I know that everyone has a unique style, and that’s what makes costumes so interesting! I got a few ideas from my fellow journalists. So here you are, my friends! The top ten Halloween costumes! (In no particular order) Enjoy.
1) A pumpkin
2) A witch/wizard
3) The nerdy Taylor Swift
4) Doc Brown from Back to the Future
5) A walking bush
6) LOTR’s Arwen
7) A werewolf
8) A bandit/robber (this one might get you arrested)
9) Bob and Larry
10) President Donald Trump
And so many more!!!
I know some of you are thinking, “I'm in high school, I’m too old to dress up for Halloween! I’m too old to go harassing neighbors for candy,” and you would be absolutely right! (on the neighbors part, please no harassing neighbors) However, just because you are in high school doesn't mean that you can’t dress up and have fun!
One of the most fun parts of this spooky season is being creative with dressing up. This is a fantastic opportunity to let your inner spookiness out and really express yourself with your costume! Whether you're going as a character from a tv show, a witch, a Bible character, or a walking bush, that's an expression of the most fun kind. So be creative, think outside of the box, and be something fantastically spooky! (But not too scary….) Now that you have some great ideas for costumes and a bit of motivation, get out there and get some candy!
