The Guild Gazette is very active on our Instagram, @theguildgazette. However, we know that many of our readers may not follow our page. We introduced our members there, so we decided to introduce them here as well. We will introduce four a month with a few questions to better acquaint SGA readers about our amazing staff. Enjoy!
Vivian Rice
How would you describe your fashion sense?
"I prefer comfort over style mostly, but if I can find cute clothes that are comfortable, then I’m sold."
Do you have any weird quirks?
"My sense of “orderly” is actually pretty messy, and I HATE dirty kitchens. Late nights I like to clean my kitchen so in the morning it’s ready to go."
What is your go-to fast food order?
"I love either Chick-fi-la or bubble tea."
Tell us about your family. (siblings, where are you from, age)
"My dad is Charles, my mom is Elizabeth. I have an older sister named Lydia, she’s a freshman in college, and I have a younger sister named Caroline, who’s a sixth grader. Although my sisters and I adopted from China, we’re not biologically related as we’re from different parts of China."
What are your life goals?
"To put fake limbs on people. I want to be a prosthetist, which means I would be making prosthetics for people."
Izzie Parsons
How would you describe your fashion sense?
"Boots and jeans when I am at home, but nice, casual around people. I try to be trendy."
Do you have any weird quirks?
"Apparently when I think my face scrunches up."
What is your go-to fast food order?
"Chickfila chicken nuggets, fries, and a lemonade."
Tell us about your family. (siblings, where are you from, age)
"I have three siblings, a younger sister (12) and two older brothers (27 and 23, I think). I am from Texas, and I am 16."
What are your life goals?
"I want to become a military chaplain, and I want to live in a tiny house."
Marianna Hall
How would you describe your fashion sense?
"Sweatpants and a t-shirt, casual."
Do you have any weird quirks?
"I wear socks all the time."
What is your go-to fast food order?
"French fries"
Tell us about your family. (siblings, where are you from, age)
"I am from Conyers. I have 4 siblings. The oldest girls are 20 and 19. I am sixteen, my brother is 13, and my sister is 10."
What are your life goals?
"I want to go to college/get a job. I am not sure what I want to do yet, but I know I want a garden."
Michael Powell
How would you describe your fashion sense?
"It is just terrible."
Do you have any weird quirks?
"I have a funny laugh? I also sweat like crazy before quizzes."
What is your go-to fast food order?
"Chick Fil A number 1."
What are your life goals?
"To find a successful career that I enjoy, pursue it and make a lot of money… And have Lydia give me an island."
