1. What is your band called and who are the members?
Our band is called Crow on a Wire, and the members are Lucy Johnston and Emma Anderson. Lucy plays guitar and piano, while Emma plays guitar, and they both sing.
2. What inspired you to start a band?
It started as a joke, and then we realized it was something we could actually do, and we both love playing music.
3. What kind of music do you guys play?
We play singer/songwriter pop music, and we do covers and originals.
4. What inspired the name of your band?
The song “Fool’s Gold” by One Direction. The first lyric is, “I’m like a crow on a wire,” and in the song it talks about chasing fool’s gold. We are chasing our dream, which is starting a band, like the song describes chasing fool’s gold.
5. Who are your biggest inspirations?
Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, Peter McPoland and lizzy McAlpine are our biggest inspirations.
6. What’s your favorite thing about being in a band?
Emma: “It’s a lot less pressure to play with another person, and there are more instruments.” Lucy: “It's fun to bounce ideas off another person.”
7. Anything else you want to say about your band?
