God's Freedom (A Poem)

Stress, heartache, and pain

Packs we carry with no gain

A labor is each day

Though try as we may

Our burdens are to much

Needing God's freeing touch

Those burdens and packs

Tough roads and tracks

His promises shall lift

Though your path may drift

His mighty hand keeps you safe

So in him, you can be brave

Walk with him my friend

Peace be with you till the end

His grace, love, and mercy

Follows you in your journey

You will never be alone

While he sits on your heart's throne

“If the Son set you free,

You will be free indeed.”

Believe and you will see

With God, all you can be

As long as he holds the key

Forever, your heart shall be free
