On January 10th , the Loganville Chick-fil-A was filled to the brim with SGA high
schoolers who were catching up with friends, eating, and overall having a great time!
Unfortunately, as many of you already know, the bonfire had to be cancelled due to possible
weather dilemmas – but that didn’t stop anyone from having fun at Chick-fil-A!
I asked a few students who went to the event for their opinion on it and whether they
would have preferred the bonfire. Michael Powell, an SGA freshman says, “I think that Chick-fil-A was a fun time to spend with friends even though it wasn’t actually a bonfire.” Robin Still, a junior at SGA says that Chick-fil-A is “…always a fun alternative for when the bonfire gets rained out. I would’ve preferred the bonfire [because] of the s’mores lol.”
Overall, though a bit disappointed, everyone there had a great time chatting and spending time together! And thank you to the wonderful event organizers who were able to find a good solution to the weather complications that hindered the bonfire!
