Journalism Co-Leader Savannah Scott

Hi guys! My name is Savannah Celeste, I’m a senior and one of your student leaders for the 2022-23 school year! In my spare time, I enjoy reading, playing the piano, writing (obviously!), and watching movies and classic sitcoms! My favorite things to write are feature articles on a range of topics, focusing on the human condition and the way things affect us. This is my fourth year in Journalism, and my seventh and last year at SGA. I am beyond excited to serve on this team and give you my best for my last year!

Journalism Co-Leader Vivian Crawford

Hey guys, my name is Vivian Crawford! I’m a junior and one of the co-leaders of Journalism this year with Savannah! This is my third year in journalism and fourth year at SGA! When im not doing school or at work, I enjoy reading, hanging out with friends, and of course writing! I like writing feature articles, and student spotlights in particlular. I am very excited to help serve as co leader, and I know this year is going to be great!

Faith Crippen, 12th grade

Hi! I’m Faith, a senior at SGA. This is my third year in journalism, and I’m happy to be back! In my free time, I love writing, drawing, and playing video games. Creative writing is my favorite, but I enjoy writing just about anything. I can’t wait for everyone to see what the Guild Gazette has in store this year!

Hello everyone! My name is Margo, and I am extremely excited to be starting my first year of journalism. I am a junior this year and this is my fifth year at sga. I love writing and sharing my creativity with others, always with the hope that they will learn something or just get enjoyment out of it. I love getting to know knew people and learning about others so I can see their perspective on life or just random topics. I predict this school year to be filled with lots of coffee, naps, and procrastination!

Hayley Norman, 11th grade

My name is Hayley, I am a junior and a first year student at SGA. I’m also here part time so you’ll catch me during and after lunch. I love to write and think about topics from different perspectives and journalism is a great place to be able to see how other people think and why. I’m also a big fan of talking about tv shows, books and all things marvel so you might eventually see a story from me talking about one of those things!

Josie Woosnam, 11th grade

hey loves! I’m so excited to be back for my second year in journalism. I am a junior this year as well as a fifth-year attendee of SGA. it’s my goal to encapsulate all of the feelings and emotions young adults face through storytelling. I am also passionate about making sure others are aware of some of the mental challenges faced in today’s society and the importance of seeing the strength that can come from them. I hope that my writing will either inspire you in a way that writing so often does or inform and motivate you to partake in some of the action steps towards growth. :)

Hello, my name is Hannah. I am in eighth grade and I am very invested in creativity, especially when it comes to writing, arts, and music. I want to use my talents in writing and arts to spread awareness about important issues in today's society, as well as project storytelling and highlight some of God’s greatest gifts. I am very excited for the school year to commence.
